With participation in the Reading Makes Cents program, you’ll do so much more than just help K–8 students learn, understand, and apply SOL concepts.

Complete the Reading Makes Cents Reading Challenge and you could win a $529 higher education savings account.

  1. Read five books
    • At least four of the books must be selections from the Reading Makes Cents reading list on the back of this page. You can read them on your own, read with an adult, or listen as an adult reads to you.
  2. Complete the reading log.
  3. Submit it to Virginia529 by Friday, May 3, 2024.
